When I got to the financial section (a subject near and dear to many presently telling their lies in the pool area) there were a few figures I wanted to be sure were understood in full context. At my request Noi hand numbered each page in the upper right hand corner.
On page 43 line one you will notice that our staff salary took a 130K increase in 2009. Actually this reflects a savings because we took our tech staff over from having QPM employ them to employing them directly as we already do the cleaners. This allowed us to pay these people slightly more, but the outgo is less. Because it came out of a different "accounting" pocket this is the way it shows up. Therefore we are paying QPM less money, but they are still overseeing our employees.
Also on page 43 you will observe that the building insurance has dropped over 36K and the management fee has dropped 113K in 2009. Cable TV shows an increase because we installed signal boosters on every floor to improve signal quality.
Page 45 "total operation group" shows a total of nearly 975K up from nearly 800K in 08 but if you notice the first three lines the whole total here is depreciation. (276K baht in new depreciation) Depreciation in accounting is not a financial outlay as such. On the same page shows a breakdown of repair and maintenance costs which took a jump in seven of ten categories due to mandates of the Condo act, Land department and the fire department. These will moderate significantly in 2010
